Here, I will take you to explore one of the most exciting educational institutions in the Philippines, the Iloilo Science and Technology University - Miagao Campus (ISAT-U MC), The place where I processed and learned many things during the Sea-Teacher Exchange Students program in November 2024. Campus Introduction and History
ISAT-U MC is located in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines, and is part of the Iloilo Science and Technology University. The college is located along the highway about 500 meters from the town plaza and the Miagao Church. The site is titled and covers 10.33 hectares. The campus was originally established as Miagao High School in 1958, later transforming into Miagao Vocational School. Over time, the institution evolved into a university that focuses on science and technology. In 2015, the campus officially became part of ISAT-U through a law that changed its status to a university.
Vision, Mission, and Goals
ISAT-U's vision is to become a leading university in science and technology in Southeast Asia by 2030. Its mission is to provide quality and relevant education, and contribute to the development of society through research and innovation.
